Mastopexy – Breast Lift

WHAT IS AN BREAST LIFT?

Pregnancy, weight loss, age and other reasons can cause breasts to sag. Mastopexy is a proven procedure that elevates breasts, restores firmness, and gives them back their youthful look.

SURGICAL TECHNIQUES

A Mastopexy will changes the shape, contours, and size of the breast. If necessary, the breast is raised up, and the nipple is repositioned. Both the nipple and areola may be slightly altered fro aesthetics.
The particular execution of this surgery is personal to each patient as it is modified for his or her body. Once the excess skin is removed, the nipple is then lifted and placed to improve both shape and contour. Any incision lines will be placed such that they can be concealed under clothing. If needed, a Mastopexy can be performed in conjunction with breast augmentation (enlargement).

IDEAL CANDIDATES

  • Patients whose breasts have succumbed to gravity and time.
  • They might lack firmness, or have droopy nipples.
