Seborrheic Keratosis is a benign skin growth, with it’s colour ranging from white, tan, brown, or black. The growths look waxy or scaly and slightly raised. They can be the result of sunlight, genetics, or just age. They are essentially a build-up of skin cells in the top layer of the skin (epidermis), including cells called keratinocytes. The older cells flake off and the newer cells grow, yet the newer cells can grow faster than usual, resulting in keratosis.
